My DSLR camera is my best friend. But what am I? Una fotografa? Or can I also say una fotografo?
In Dutch I can say both (I always use the masculine) , because the feminine words for professions are disappearing more and more in my language.

very interesting what you said about feminine words for professions disappearing in Dutch. To answer your question, “una fotografo” is not correct. In this case you need to say “una fotografa”. Quindi tu sei una fotografa, se la tua macchina fotografica reflex è sempre con te 🙂
