This is the first step you should take. It’s very important that you start learning Italian following lessons with a specific order so that you can build up your comprehension and communication skills gradually and consistently. You have two options.
Option 1: Follow my Online Courses
Members with an Active Learner subscription or higher can access all my Interactive Courses from A1 to B1 and get my help along the way by joining the Italianglot Community on Discord. The online courses have extra lessons not contained in the books.
Option 2: Study on your own
You can study on your own by getting each one of my Easy Italian Books (eBook or paperback) and download the audio lessons on your computer.
Beginner Course (A1)
If you’re just starting to learn Italian, this is the course for you. You will learn the basics, including common greetings, simple phrases, and essential vocabulary for everyday situations. By the end, you’ll be able to understand and use familiar expressions, hold basic conversations, and interact simply, especially when the other person speaks slowly and clearly.

Elementary Course (A2)
With this course, you’ll expand your basic skills to handle everyday situations. You’ll be able to engage in short conversations, talk about past and future events, and understand simple texts and spoken language on familiar topics like shopping, work, and personal information. This course will boost your confidence in basic social interactions and daily tasks.

Intermediate Course (B1)
At level B1, you’ll start to communicate with confidence in everyday situations. You will be able to understand the main points of clear speech on familiar topics, handle most travel situations, and produce simple, connected text on personal interests. You’ll also be able to describe experiences, express opinions, and interact more naturally with native speakers. This course will help you strengthen these skills and become more fluent in the language.
