“Mi piace andare più al mare che in montagna”… This sentence sound a bit strange to me.
Can I also say “Mi piace più andare al mare che in montagna” and “”Mi piace andare al mare più che in montagna”?

sì, tutte e tre le frasi sono corrette. Puoi usare quella che vuoi con l’intonazione giusta, cioè mettendo sempre più enfasi sulla parola “più” 🙂
